Indies Celebrate
Independent Bookstore Day
Saturday, April 30, 2022
When most people think of bookstores, they think of Barnes and Noble, or even the long-forgotten and well-missed Borders. However, the small local bookstores that seem iconic in your hometown never really get the attention they deserve.
That changes one day a year, the last Saturday in April, when hundreds of independent bookstores in all 50 states offer discounts and, in many cases, exclusive book and literary items, contests, cupcakes, and plenty more in between.
Check out your local indie for special promotions and to support their important contribution to our reading life.
